1985 Mark Stonback M. formicworms BUCK Hartings Reservation 4 June 1200 Approached granary. Heard what I thought was inm. noises. Sev birds flushed. Looked in granary r sev other trees for 2nd nest. No luck 13 June 0615-0745 census. Saw 663, 665, 987 adults. Only one baby identified (1002). I don't know if there were others or not. The birds 25 June 0830-0915 begin census. Saw babies 1001, 1002 1003. Saw adults 665, 987 Adult ♀ in nest that walter checked the other day. Eggs here? Needs to be checked, 23 July 1500 Banded babies (2) # Saw 1153 1003 17 Aug a.m. tried to census. [illegible]. Lots of acorns. No activity at nest (that I could see)
