Maybe Low Hay Finally has it together. 26May 1730, Nestcheck; 6 eggs ① 27.6 x 21.1 ② 27.2 x 20.6 ③ 27.8 x 21.1 damaged, floating air cell ④ 28.6 x 20.3 ⑤ 29.2 x 19.8 failed to hatch ⑤ laid 26 May ⑥ 28.5 x 20.9 ⑦ 27.8 x 20.6 Measured by Susan 29May 24th 4June Susan reports egg ③ has disappeared 7June Nestcheck, 1600. 5 nestlings, plus egg ⑤ which failed to develop. 29June **GROUP UPDATE** ① Another unbanded ♂ joined group 830501, (F first saw 2nd ♂ NIB 1May) ② ♂857 (1st year) + ♂858 (AU) banded at Low Hay by Susan 13 [illegible] 1983. LOW HAY ABANDONED Fall 83, No birds present during mid September acorn census, so abandonment likely occurred before then.
