18May Checked the nest, 1800: 1 nestling, ~7days old. Pretty poor. No trace of other eggs or young. Should band here 2 June
4June NEST FAILED!
1 dead (fresh) chick nestling in nest, probably died 2-3June. Very stunted development, gizzard full of stones+grit, but otherwise empty. Small peckholes on left flank.
