1984 R.L. Mumme Acorn Woodpeckers Road I 30 May Lots of developments here, Yesterday afternoon and this morning I find ♀486 ♂269 ♀383, plus ♂579, ♂580, ♂672, ♂804! Wow, old home wreck. ♀578 might have been here, except she was taking part in a minor power struggle at Plague and somehow badly injured her wing. Walter found her in the Lower Barn area and took her to the aviary 0-28 May (see Plague notes), No evidence of a nest at Road I 13 June ** GROUP UPDATE ** ① ♀269 Returns to R1 20 March 84 (First seen 27 March) ② ♀578 Returns to R1 4 May 84 ③ ♀578 Removed 28 May 84 (Apparently injured in Plague Power struggle; Placed in Aviary) ④ ♂579, ♂580, ♂672, ♂804 return [illegible] May 84 (♂580, ♂672 at Road 3 27 March - 14 April)
