25 March Watching here 1130-1245. Decent watch. I
see 8835 M Yor-wnt 8834 ant-Blk/m, 8NB,
and 797 white/DBlut = Red. No real evidence
that 796 is here, but she might well still
be here. FA appears to be OUT of acorns!
16 May No acorns, no birds, and nobody in any holes, 1200
23 May " " " " " 1400
Just as I was about to give up on this group, I see
834 Red/Blk-white in the grany. Still no
evidence of a nest, though.
4 June No birds, nobody in any holes, 1200.
16 June watching, 0630: 0900; Good watch. 835, 834,
8NB, 796 all seen well repeatedly, after sapsucking
from a blue oat on the E side of the ravine. Only 8
797 was missing, and he may be gone. Also, a 8NB
was here for a while, acting like he may be part of
the group. Further watching would be useful. The main
point is that FA appears to have no nest: No interest
in holes or food-carrying seen.
9 Oct FA seems abandoned: No acorns, no birds seen by
Sandy (see her notes).
Not SO FA not abandoned
