** GROUP UPDATE **
① ♂545 disappeared. 18 Aug 1982 ± 2 months
Last seen 27 July June, missing 26 July (poor-watch)
certainly gone by 8 Oct.
② ♀720 disappeared ~ 8 July 1982 ± 2 months
③ ♀862 (unbanded) " " " " " "
Both last seen on 4 May, missing in poor watches
on 26 July + 27 June, Certainly gone by 9 September
25 March First watch here since Dec, 1030: By 1130, Nobody
has appeared in the granary yet, but I pick up a bunch
of birds sap sucking from a spindly Valley Oak SW of
the granary, ♂546, ♂624 LBlue-Red / LBlue-Red,
♀775 Dark/Yellow, and ♂777 Bkt/wh-Lgreen all seen
sap sucking. Only ♀720 not confirmed, but she
may have been around.
20 May Nobody in any holes here, 1400
16 May " " " " 1230
23 May Again found nobody in any hole, 1300. I also watched here
a bit seeing only ♀775 Dark/Yellow and ♂777 Bkt/wh-
Lgreen, although I flushed two other birds. However, this
leads me to suspect that maybe ♀720 is gone, and Lambert
is suffering from Finch syndrome. Another watcher or two
would be good, here.
4 June well, I'm wrong. Mark watched a bit at the "Keep Out"
nest, and saw 1 feeding visit by ♀ Red-Yellow/Red, which
just has to be ♀720. So Lambert has nested.
8 June Banded 3 Lambert nestlings, Underweight Juvs. 894-896
