MacFlat
18May MacFlat has nested! After flushing a bird out of a road-
facing hole in the roadside sycamore (see map back of P.1)
I climb up, open the hole and find 4eggs, ~6days along.
This would put hatching at ~24 May, buring~14June
14June Banded 4 nestlings here, 1800; Juvs 902-905.
Juv 902+903 seemed pretty healthy, Juv
904 was OK x J905 was quite rusty &
underdeveloped. See caprecs,

4Aug Here in the late afternoon, I find a couple of birds
sapsucking from a Live Oak overhanging the road. They
prove to be ♂540
D6rn / Lpink
and a Juvenile, whose
bands I read as
m / Dblue-white. Unfortunately, it
shouldn't be any of the MacFlat babies, unless I screwed
up in boding J904 M/red-white, screwed up recording it
on the field list, screwed up reading the bands, or something.
