7/13/85 Mbr III 8518 C 21.75 HI above 8518 in second of 2 4' ledges of calcareous paleosol containing nuts & Equisetum rhizomes. Dip is 56% to W. 8518d Pollen sample from lower in mbr III from highly carbonaceous silt From this pt. upward to 8518 unit consists of interbedded calc ss ledges freq. x-bedded & w/ upper surface ripple marked unconsolidated med. grey siltst & mudst all of which appear calc. Plant remains & paleosols only become abundant also at that level of 8518. Dip here 67% to W 9 HI to BASE of prominent FLAT bedded ss (ledge forming) beds obscurely ripple marked 11.5 Top of SS
