Lambert
(20 Feb)
1045, Alan watching, I count stores:
Fallen limb HNHP 2650
Broke- Valley Oak 325
→ Fallen Limb, Lambert ~550
Fireline area 150
3675 TOTAL
Big surprise was the fallen limb on the Lambert side
had a shiftload (~550) acrons. Only remember a couple there
before
1110, Alan reports 2 ♀NB with tail spots. Also,
he thinks there may have 4 cooperating ♀♀ here.
will definitely bear further watching.
1120, A bit more, perhaps just 3 ♀NB here, as I
originally suspected. 2 may indeed have tail spots. But it
looks like ♀652 is definitely losing. By now, the 3 ♀NB
are looking tight with the ♂, and have take-over
both the broken hop tree and the fallen HNHP limb,
♀652 is not to be seen.
23 Feb Alan watched here this morning, and reports 3 ♀NB
looking in control of the situation, and ♂8545 and
624: ♂671 not around, and ♀652 nowhere to
be seen.
26 Feb While watching at Blanco, I hear a bit of exaggerated wakas
coming from here on occasion.
9 March Alan watches here, reports 3 ♀NBs, 3546 and ♂689 (from
Black Oak) but no other Lambert ♂. (?)
We go back up to Lambert, Alan sits while I
