Last seen late April - early May. Gone by October.

Last seen on 14 Oct 1981, gone by, 10 ± 20 Nov.

All 3 were at Blacks Oak 22 Oct 1981, first seen at
Lambert 10 November

First seen at Lambert 10 Nov, intruding at UA2

4280 watching. Finally do OK here. ♂624 Blue-Red / Blue-Red,
♂545 tBlue / Metal ♀652 Yellow / Corn
all seen in the
Lambert area. ♂691 pBlue-Yellow (N) / Corn
and ♂624 were
seen in the keep out area earlier, about 1030.
1200, ♂691 finally seen in the Lambert area, so a complete
census up here. But... A 5th bird is around, whose
left leg bands I read as ♂ B Pink / Metal, absolutely
unresolvable with any other Black Oak birds. Could it be
the old Lambert ♂[illegible]583? Will have to check. Seems
friendly (or at least not aggressive) with the other birds, although
I have seen some chases up here. Will I ever figure out
what's going on up here?
Sample of 50 acorns taken from the down limb, +
replaced with an equivalent number.
