1982 R.C. Mumme Melanerpes formicivorus School Hill West 6 Oct Goodwatch here, 0820-0930. The bad news is that ♀531 is gone, and in her place is a ♀NB. I'll have to work on catching her. ♂530 Bpk-0r/Bpke is here however (he is heavily tailspotted, it is worth noting) plus two of the '82 juveniles. ♂756 wht-DBlue/DBlue-wht (N) and ♀758 Lpk/DBa. All 4 of these birds were in the gravity simultaneously at 0910 scolding some unknown object. No sign of ♀674 (was she forced out by the new ♀?) or juveniles 757 and 759 (759's chances were small, to say the least). ♀758 and the ♀NB seem to be getting along just fine at the moment. I feel fairly comfortable in saying that these 4 birds are all that are present.
