27 oct Hallelujah!! At long last, PIPELINE IS OCCUPIED!
Passing by at 1100, I find 3 birds in the granary. One is
DBlue / wht, formerly of Plague! A
good 1 mile disposal for a ♂, yet, may be close to
a record. One of the two others was, as expected, ♀704
UPN-D6rn/M I suspect the third bird was ♀703. These
two warp 5 ♀♀ had been seen here, off t or, for some weeks
now. The clincher today is that there are stored acorns
here (~20) Also heard the 3 birds waka to each other.
1130, confirm ♀703 Yellow/Mauve Saw ♀704 store an
acorn, all she and ♂660 pecked into the roost hole in the granary.
Great!! Its official!
1140, Also, in the top, dead stub of a sycamore, 20 m
fresh
Not of the granary along the creek, is a hole that appears to be
under construction. A bit earlier I saw ♂660 fly to the
granary from that direction with a mouth full of sawdust.
Hole is certainly accessible by extension ladder, possibly by
tree climbing.
