1982 R. C. Mumme Melanerpes formicivorus Warp 5 (17 June) 1115, looks like ♀629 is gone. Saw ♂528 m/♀703 Yellow/Mauve ♀704 Lpink-Orn/m for sure, and possibly ♂636 Orn/m, but I wasn't sure. Saw nobody carry food anywhere. Most of the time I could see the birds hanging out on the Valhalla-Warp 5 ridge (above the Black Oak nest tree). 4 Oct On the side of School Hill above the gate I find two Warp 5 birds: ♀703 Yel/Mauve and ♀704 Lpink/Black chasing & being chased by Gate birds in the same area. Also saw a ♀NB in the area briefly! Was she a straggler, or perhaps a new ♀ at Warp 5?
