Still no shortage of acorns in their remaining limbs. 8 Feb Counted stores, 1215 Fallen limbs 530 Still in tree 520 1050 TOTAL 2 March Alan + E struggle, but we managed to get the fallen limb returned to the granary tree, and in a fairly usable condition & position. It looks like a lot of acorns have already been removed from it since 8 Feb, but maybe 300 are still in it. 4 March watching here, 1045, Lo + behold we find the long lost ♂/♀686 M / Bpink - Black. What's more, "she" is in ♀ plumage! 1100, We have a complete census here! ♂519 BIK-Yellow/Bik ♂626 ♂627 Lpink-DBlue/M, ♂685 and ♂686. Good! 28 March Counted stores, 1330: 620 Total also saw ♂627 & ♀685 in the process. 24 Apr A quick look here, 1200, Who should find but ♂601 M / unrcorn, as suspected (see 1500 notes for previous 2 weeks!) 1207, she's in the top of the granary, preening. Not co-tested at the moment, though no other birds around. ♂627 was here a bit earlier. 1230, ♂519 BIK-yellow/M, ♂601 together is a VO in between the swimming hole + CV road. No problems. ♂601 is back in the group. If ♂626 still here, no mateguarding yet.
