First seen at Dark Hollow 13+14 May ④♂561 + ♂562 moved to Hay Blom ~7 June 1982 Molly last saw these ♂ at 1800 22 May, and they were missing on 30 May. However, the ♂173 at ItB probably didn't die until 4 or 5 June. Also Leslie saw ♂562 look into the Hay Blom nest on 30 May after the nest had apparently failed, but before ♂173's death (See Leslie's 30 May nest watch) 15 July Walking up Haystack Obs I find several birds flycatching from the Utility poles near the 2 VO's along the fence approaching the top of the hill. They are all 1800 birds and I even find all 3 Juveniles! J785 m / DBLue-Yellow J786 6cm / DGrn-8Pkt(m) and J787 yellow-wnt/Red-white. What's more, I ever saw J785 peck hard at J786 twice while the two were perched on a utility pole. 0645, another J785 pecks J786 + plus a good hit that 786 is dominant over 787. On the utility pole, 786 lunged at 787, and 787 turned away + chattered. No contact though. ♂347 + ♂476 also seen
