starts 2/3 way to top of fm. 2 2245 Dk. gray laminated shale, poison sulfur smell, weatheres dk. grey w. whitish efflorescence some greenish glauconitic (?) inturbles in first 10m. (dip is 50% W). Bands of rusty greenish yellow weathering material at 2225 cm. glauconite(?), etc. Unit becomes silty, mottled in places 3 305 4 135 Black shale 5 430 Mudstone, med. grey weathering dk brownish grey color some mottling appears irregularly parallel laminated, lamination interrupted with mottling. Beds of siltstone appearing in upper portion. 4 285. Siltstone lens thickening to S. from 0.5 meter to 3m.
