7/16/84 Haughton Assemblage ON CENTRAL MASS Rare platey is on in rubble on shoulder at 8460 And to top of central mass rarely. All rubble is highly angular & Shows no sign of being glacially transported Therefore it was let down onto this feature. :: LAKE beds once higher than CENTRAL MASS. Found these thin bedded is to be Paleozoic From Central mass ws deep water gap is evident - :: LAKE level lay at top of Crater rim. :: LAKE Deep, sed once filled to level of central mass now dissected This would explain LACK OF SCAVENGING OF VERTS
