7/8/83 Tour of Lacustrine facies and "Lebo" w R. Yuretitch J. Petersen Mark. Dale Springer L. UTTER K. Johnson Toured "Lebo" Mjr by going up HUNT Cr. and looking at the escarpment of Lebo facing N into the valley Ascending the escarpment between HUNT & Cub Creeks to look in detail at some of the sections. Isolated SS channels were observed but these are broader and shallower than the deply incised ones in the paludal facies at Bear Creek or in the Lacustrine facies. This coupled w/ the extensive soils development in the "Lebo" might be an indication of the slower sedimentation rate in the "Lebo".
