From bedded siltst 20' above base of Tullock Fm Below in Hell Cr. Fm so-called unbedded so-called Gumbus are massive siltst, mudst, sh, siltst & mudst w/ root imps & rarely fossil pls. Fossil pls w/ dark grey halos around them indicating higher Eh > pH conditions Could extinction of Dinosaurs here be a purely facies related event w/ Onset of lignitic sed destroying the dinny bone. Suggested correlation: Persistence of H.C. conditions above normal base of Carb in a flood causation of H.C. lithology
