Munne Journal Hastings Reservation 14 May Slept late, watched briefly at Low Hay, then poorly in bad weather at Blom one, then returned to Low Hay for a nest check and to bring the movie camera down. Then fooling around on the Arnold, Dinner at Red House 15 May Sleep late, transcribing tapes in the morning. Nest check at Low Hay, carry the ladder over to Gazebo and checked the nest there, Then boogied into town for some grocery shopping. Nest check at Gate 16 May Very bizarre distressing watch at Low Hay, then a routine nest watch at Gazebo, Roosting at Bal, then slide show at Red House 17 May A more encouraging watch at Low Hay, with a nest check. Then a trip up to the Arnold for CA2 + SOBO duty, then nest check at 1500 and nest watch at Gazebo 18 May Early watch at Blom one in poor weather, nest check and egg-injection at Gate, nest check at Low Hay + Blom one. Roosting at 1800. Also watched at Finch. 19 May Watched the nest at Gazebo early, then relaxed, wrote a letter during some rain, then nest check at 1800 a mini-slide show of egg-tossing pictures, a check at S Hill + S Hill west, roosting at S Hill. 20 May Usual dull watch at Blom one, a check at Gazebo, then laundry + baking until 1400. Then I wandered all around Arnold Road Flats and actually found the nest at ARF 2. Also a Cooper's Hawk nest. Roosting at 1800 21 May Another day of nest finding, this one at SOBO (Yeah!). that took the entire afternoon. Relayed, wrote notes, Sewed, and
