7 Jan Start 1120. Granary census on back. These guys are still
Storing acorns, and they seem to be gathering live oaks acorns
from the "Creek side of the road," about 50 meters
downstream from the granary. Everybody (except 8538,
of course, certainly dead) seen well. Last hour I
Take storage data. All dark, agrifolia acorns. End
1320. 868, 8184, 8265, 8537, 8589, 8618, all here.
11 Feb Start 0805. Granary census on back. 8265 looking out of 1980
nest hole as I arrive. 0820, a 8 also in the hole with her.
0830, everybody emerges from roosting. Only 8537
seemed to be roosting in another hole. 0935, everybody
out, but (presumed) 8184 still looking out of 1980 nest.
Emergence sequence was 8265, 868, 8539, 8618, 8184,
with 8537 apparently elsewhere. 8184 also seen well, so
census already. 0930. Believe it or not, those guys are still
bringing in acorns and storing them. Looks like agrifolia. 8184 &
8618 have done it for sure, I suspect others as well. 8265 40-20.
Storage data on back. Again, Live oak acorns are coming from
the creek side of the road west (toward Finch) of the granary
End 1005.

0910, 8184 & 868 fly into VO granary, the 868 approaches 8184
→ 868 chatters to 8184, as 8184 was extracting an acorn bit. 0939,
→ 8184 pecks at 8537 on a storage limb. So he still
dominates the lyrebird. Granary census interrupted by
bulldozer work. 8184, 868, 8537, 8618 all seen well. 8539
Conspicuously absent. No following/guarding of 8265 yet. End 1130
