21 march Roosting here, after some last-minute moving around,
9 birds roosted in the nest hole (1980), 2 birds were
in a hole about 3ft above the nest hole for a while, but
late, one flew away (to where?) and another flew to the
next hole, becoming the ninth bird.
28 march Swing by here at noon, no sign of power struggle and/or
new Q yet. ♂66, ♂540, ♀541, ♂543, ♂614 all seen. ♂60♂541
3 April Ambush set at the 1980 nest hole, but only 2 roost there
Two roost in a hole above, and 1 roosts in a hole below.
I don't know where everyone else went. Ambush

6 April Aswing by here 1245, no revolution yet.

14 April A quick look here, ♂63, ♂66, ♀543, ♂614, ♂501
seen here. No revolution yet.
21 April No sign of revolution activity or nests at 1030.
23 April Finch birds in acorn-bearing Live Oak at Gate (see Gate notes)
30 April Start watch here 1300 to see if a ♀ has snuck in here (like one
did at Gazebo). ♂614 Narrow/metal, But that's all.
Very little action here at all.
7 May Start 1100. Uh-Oh, a ♂ looking out of '80 nest hole
♂501, ♂66 seen, will have to look here again.
9 may Swing past at 1015. Nobody in the '80 nest hole this
time. ♀543 Dorn/DB the here, and no sign of a
Dom → new ♀. 1025, ♂282 pecks at ♂540!! ♂63,
♂66, ♂501 also seen. ♂501 also pecks ♂540.
