in 1980 nest area. No aggression whatsoever. Leave 0830.
End 1015.
Check nest in Valley Oak, 9269 did lay just after
0808 in the Valley Oak. Egg measured, measurements read
to Walter. While check, Janet sees 9269
toss 9383's egg from this morning, and carry it to
the 10 granary. Suspected to have been eaten
Valley Oak hole watched rest of day, no visits,
no egg tossed.
20 April Start from Hide at Black Oak hole at 0606. Mary
Pearock is watching simultaneously at the Valley Oak hole
0659, 9383 enters, flies out with wood chip after 5 seconds
0705, 9383 enters. 9269, 9486, 9577 all in vicinity
of hole. 0709 9294 looks in, flies off after 30 sec
0714 9294 enters nest. 9294 leaves at 0715.
0720 9383 leaves.
0724 9383 enters. 0739, 9383 garricks tuire
from inside the hole, in response to waltas from granary
0745, 9269 at hole, 9383 leaves, 9269
enters and leaves immediately (< 1 seconds) carrying
the egg laid by 9383 ½ hour before. Egg carried
to anvil perch of 10 granary, placed on horizontal branch
0748 9269 returns, enters nest hole, 0749 9269 leaves
At least 2 different birds seen feeding on egg at 0750.
Both 9486 plus another.
0811 9269 in hole for about 16 seconds
