Munne Journal Hastings Reservation 20-25 Feb: Berkeley, Peter Wase, Treasure of Sierra Madre, Gene Flow. 26 Feb Return to Hastings around noon, nine mile run with Nancy. 27 Feb Nice day, but I work on Concord fallacy all day. Dinner at Barkhouse with Joanne, Nancy, the Pattons. Griffins added for desert at the cabin. 28 Feb Rainy day. I futz around. Good date with Nancy to Italian Restaurant in Village. Lots of fun. 29 March Another rainy day. I work on Joste et al., with Nancy, a lethargic 5-mile run, 2 March No rain, but cloudy, but productive. Good watches at Blomone + Gazebo, plus a Golden Eagle eating an Arctic Loon, and a prairie Falcon over by the ponds. Pitfall City 3 March Gray & cold & cloudy. I work on Joste et al., run up Martin Rd with Joanne, Nancy, Walter. Fun Mardi Gras party at the Cabin, the a pitfall check 4 March Hard rain all day. Nancy leaves for Berkeley, I get a lot of typing done on Joste et al. 5 March Clearing, but very cold. Work some more on Joste et al., chop wood, goof off, etc. Talked to Laurie this evening. 6 March Good watch up on School Hill, first Violet Green Swallow up there, plus White-throated Swifts. Joste et al., a.a a great movie, Holiday, at the library. 7 March Joste et al, good watches at Hay-Blant 1500. Dessert at the Griffins 8 March Nancy returns. Good watches at Wuter Gate
