♀509 doing sonedrumming. Saw ♀587 drum once in the
granary. 1545, a real fall at the moment: 1555, 2 inexplicable,
♂461 starts to tussle with ♀509, after sitting "with"
her for quite some time. This attracted ♀587 from
the granary, who gave violent chase. Then, all resident birds in the granary, waking, etc.
♀587 open wings, tail lifts as well. Intruders
seem to have been temporarily routed from the scene.
End 1600. Score Round 1 to ♀587.
5 April
1035, Revolution in full swing. ♀523, ♀509, 3 NBQQ here
2 NBQ seem to be cooperating. ♀523 is peripheral (broken tree
SE of granary) as is ♀509 (2° granary). At least 4 x pursuits
5 ♀NB. One peripheral on the utility pole. Peripheral
birds (♀523, ♀NB) do all the garricking. One big "to the
ground tussle" I try to run up to capture them, but they
take off just in time. On the ground about 1 min.
1118, ♀587 does all the chasing in the granary. In the 2°
granary, ♀509 has a little sidechon with a ♀NB.
♂307 does a bit of chasing, especially it seems when on
storage limbs, the 2 NBQQ that are cooperating seem to chase
peripheral ♀Q, but themselves are being chased by
1300, a long fall to set up mistnets, ♀587 captured.
♀523, ♀509 still around, but doesn't seem like a pair
of cooperating females anymore.
