Delanerpes formicivorus

15 Oct A quick stop here reveals ♂402 yellow / D Pink, along with
J♂669, J♀668, and two ♀NB. Is ♂402 going
to move here, too?
17 Oct A failed ambushed attempt here, in the "easy" hole
in the S Hill ravine. Unfortunately, I missed the fact that
the stub above the hole was directly connected to the
cavity. Burner. I pulled the string at about 2000
hrs on 16 Oct, and I may have heard a bird fly out
then. Oh, well.
Lots of action on the knoll again, at 1600 hrs.
I find lots of 1800 birds (♂S64 Red-BIX / BIX-Red,
Yellow-BIX / M, and ♀695 mauve / mauve)
♂561 Yellow / Black, and ♀695 mauve / mauve
Cbrn / yellow
two 1500 birds (♀601 [?..?] M / wht-cbrn,
♀676 DBlue-wht/BIX-wht), 2 Buckeye birds (♂663
M / Dbrn BPix (N), ♀ (finally!) 664 Cbrn-Dbrn / M).
Don't know what it was all about, but the
4 Y regulars (♀668, ♂669, a ♀NB, and
a fourth bird [♀NB or ♂402?] ) were still in
charge of the locusts in the lower barn. Will have
to check here tomorrow.
19 Oct Once again, lots of commotion at the Y. 0800. In the
lower barn locusts, secure are ♂402(! here again!), ♂669, ♀668,
and 2♀NB although a 3rd ♀NB appears to be here as well,
getting chased.
Lots of action on the knoll, too. Lots of birds going to
the yellow pass, so I try putting the "corner" pan inside
one of Bill's Potter Traps (a Yellow-Pan-Trap Trap?)
