G 362; BPI = Tiniaria — Webb in Mag. BryBI 674 Fls directly across road from end of drive. Plants not in fl. frequent on Stumpside grd. 7-2-38 ? Betula lutea Michx f. G 334; BryBI 610 No fl or fr. One small tree no side of drive behind. Ident chiefly by the bark which has (in some degree) characters remembered from H.H. Lds very like ill Hough but that is hardly enough to make sure they are not B. lenta. Twig seems to have faint flaws quintergreen [7-16-38] Bark seems exactly like bark brought from an undoubted B. lutea on the Arkaput, 25+ mi. Nthole, left bank, just a few steps upstream from bridge. 7-2-38 Acer saccharum Marsh. G 558; BryBI 496 No fl or fr. Lawn. No other A. found at Kilwood to date 7-2-38 Liriodendron Tulipifera G 469; BryBI 83 No fl or fr. Fine tree. No side of drive near house. 7-2-38 Platanus occidentalis L. G 454; BryBI 242
