Calyx 1 in high; strongly marked with [often reddish] veins. Corolla 1-1/4 inches. 6-11-38 Melilotus alba Deas G 610 = M.—Deas RUBI 352 Fl. Roadside, northward. Just beginning to fl. H.F.S. Calls attention to fact that M.a- is more erect & better clothed (a.f.s.) with lvs than M.o- which has been in fl. for about 2 wks. and which is more spreading, sarawny vill-fus. mixed in aspect.
