10-13-38 Chenopodium ambrosioides L. G366;
Bv B II 14 Fl v fr. Garage on Rt 1 bet New Haven & Bridgeport
Very probio var anthelminticum Gray. G366
See Cote III 184 which will infl very well. Stem not
"velue-hérisée". Lower has fallen. & the remaining
might fit the species or the variety.
10-13-38 Bidens frondosa L. G 840; Bv B III 497 F2. With above.
Fl with 10-16-38 from Kilwood. Plants to 2 ft & very much
branched, and outer bracts frequently 9, but otherwise
seen the same. Achene 2-3 mm wide looks exactly like
those of 10-16. Heads never more than 1cm broad even when
achenes well developed (but before they begin to spread
apart before falling) so there seems no chance this is
B. vulgata Greene.
