A.S.- but pubescent be- neath v much rougher above. Bud broadly ovoid v blunt (in A.S. beginning lanceolate v sharp-pointed then becoming cylindric. At foot of tree n-e of limes just about or near the north boundary line bet. Kilwood & Twin Doors, or pass a little on the T-D side. I saw def in zones. Piped spores present as well as signs ? of pre cases on earlier growths. Gemmae present. I saw almost entire v not conspicuously broader above middle.
