to base, about ¼ in long. Fs. small, almost sessile v cone-
like with "scales" curved backwards (might be remain-
g opened pods) studied with handglass only. [This desc.
v memory of plant makes this ident. very probably
right, esp. when compared with Ill. T604] [See 4-8-39
which makes this ident almost certain
