5-25-39 plant glabrous v glaucous except for "hack-shaped glands" [infl.] lower lvs 3- & upper lvs 1-pinnatifid. Calyx, 4.5mm long. Corolla 10 mm long, its lobes 5mm long. Tube exerted from calyx only from point where it widens i.e. 1-2 mm. Corolla pale bluish with 4 spots at throat on each lobe (2 darker lilac-purple spots v below them 2 yellow- greenish spots: these are conspicuous but very plain (20x) (See G. of 5-20-39). No pedicel more than 2 mm. 5-25-39 Crucifer. Inspiration Pt. Flv adv. fr. Nodesc. in M.T. fits this. Best wild guess leads to Thelypodium lasio- phyllum Greene #4/12: Caulanthus lasiophyllus Payson M188. See 5/6-39. Lower lvs lilac ill 40 & 2 (T) Upper lvs pinnatifid into very narrow, rather distant, linear lobes; no lvs clasping st but spid with retrorse hairs near base v lovie lvs hairy. Upper parts glabrous. Pods slender varicate spreading (love me in 5-10-39); none reflexed tho longest is now 4.7cm long. Sepals 4.5mm. Petals def. yellow 6 mm. Our plant seems sure to fall into Miskey #3-5 or f2s this is best guess in spite of discrepancies 5-25-39 Sanicula tuberosa Torr. J700; M350 luvpe fr. Inspiration Point. Not not col. but ident sure.
