Mayhew 1963 Journal 30. July 11 Palm Springs, Riverside Co., Calif. in Palm Springs Panorama from 0600 to 1130. By 1130 the air temp. (1 meter) was 38.0°C. During this period we captured 37 Uma inornata and saw many others. We also saw 2 Dipsoaurus dorsalis. The animals captured were: 17 adult ♂ 14 " ♀ 5 immature ♂ 1 " ♀ We returned to UCR at 1305 after a trip of 114 miles. Then we took these animals and some other Uma spp. and released them in the Mira Loma dunes. We now have the following lizards released in 5 dunes: Dune #1: U. inornata - 55 U. notata - 55 U. scoparia - 55 Dune #2: U. scoparia - 33 Dune #3: U. notata - 112 Dune #4: U. inornata - 86 Dune #5: U. scoparia - 52 Total U. inornata - 145 U. notata - 167 U. scoparia - 140 Grand Total - 452
