& I left UCR at 0745 for a sample
of Sceloporus graciosus. We looked
for lizards at South Fork Campground
from 0905 to 1120. During that
period we captured 25 adult S.
graciosus that we kept, and 7
immatures that we measured and
released. We also captured 4 adult
and 4 immature S. occidentalis during
the same period. The weather was
quite cool all the time we were in
the mountains. The maximum temp.
(air) I recorded today was 17.0° C (at 1320). We
reached UCR at 1430 after a trip of 145 miles.
