Mayhew 1963 Journal 25. May 24 Glamis area, Imperial Co., Calif. several times, I am quite certain the animal had just recently gotten onto the road. We drove 55 miles between 1920 and 2300 night collecting. May 25 We drove between the canals, looking for P. m'calli from 0700 to 1230 and again from 1500 to 1845. During this period, we collected 27 P. m'calli. We also captured a few lizards of other species that we found beside the road during this interval. In addition, 9 DOR P. m'calli were seen. We night collected from 1940 to 2010, then again from 0105 to 0125. No animals were seen during the second period, but half a dozen Coleonyx variegatus and 1 Chionactis occipitalis were collected during the first period. May 26 We looked for Uma notata in the dunes from 0700 to 0820, during which we captured 19. Then we looked for P. m'calli between the canals from 0840 to 1200. We captured 10 live ones and saw 2 DOR's. We left for home at 1200, and reached UCR at 1600. The entire,
