Shirley Hill & I left UCR at 0925
to get a sample of Sceloporus
graciosa for the reproductive
cycle investigation. We collected
lizards from 1030 to 1345. During
this period we captured 1 Uta
stanislauiana, 3 Sceloporus occidentalis
and 21 S. graciosa. We returned to
UCR at 1500 after a trip of 107 miles.

Herta Caylor, Shirley Hill & I left
UCR at 1250 to collect Phrynosoma
m'calli. We reached the Highline Canal
at 1550 and made one pass between
the canals before going into the
dunes to catch Uma notata. One
live and 6 DOR Phrynosoma m'celli
were seen on that pass. The wind
was blowing sand in the dunes, so
we were able to catch few of the Uma
we saw, and we didn't see many. We
might collected from 1920 to 2300
( miles), and saw 5 Chionactis
occipitalis, 1 Crotalus cerastes as well
as numerous Colonyx variegatus. We
collected only Colonyx. We also
found an immature of Phrynosoma
m'celli on the road at 2125. As
we had collected past that point,
