Mayhew 1963 Journal 11. April 7 Glamis area, Imperial Co., Calif. The sky remained overcast until 1530, when more blue sky began to emerge. Four of the animals were found by tracking during the late afternoon. At 1945 we began night collecting. We made one round trip between the canals (14 miles) by 2055. We caught 6 Colonyx variegatus & found 1 DOR. One Crotalus cerastes had just been run over before we reached it; No other animals were seen (except one Lepus cali.). We drove 95 miles today.
