Mayhew 1963 Journal 1. Feb. 20 Palm Springs, Riverside Co., Calif. Shirley Hill & I left UCR in a thick fog at 0845. We reached the collecting area on Vista Chino Ave. & began looking for lizards at 0955. No animals or tracks were seen for some time. At 1010 we saw the first animal (immature). Nearly 1/2 hour passed before we saw another. Then lizards became rather numerous: Time Number Seen 1010 1 1035 1 1040 1 1045 2 (Urna incornuta) 1050 1 1055 1 1100 2 1105 2 1110 1 1115 2 1120 1 1123 1 1125 1 1130 2 1140 1 1145 1 1155 2 1210 1 1220 1 1225 1
