Sept. 15
Glamis, Imperial Co., Calif.
1 adult and about 6 juvenile Callisaurus
draconoides besides the aforementioned
P. m'calli. We were able to make only
one round trips between the canals
during this time. By 0940 no lizards
could be found anywhere.
We looked for lizards in the
dunes from 1625 to 1815 (sundown-
1754), and found quite a number of
(juv.) Uma notata, as well as
several adult Urosaurus graciosa.
Then we might collected from 1835
to 2105 (1 round trip - Glamis to Highline
canal). We captured 6 Coleonyx
variegatus, and two fellows from UCLA
carht 2 others. The maximum temp.
today was 105°F., the minimum tonight
was 78°F.
