No tracks of other lizards were seen in this location. I drove along the road, looking for lizards, from 0910 to 1135. a total of 14 lizards (12 Uma scoparia, 1 Diposaurus dorsalis & 1 juvenile Crotaphytus wisligeni) were seen during this drive. 3 of the Uma were juveniles, 8 of these lizards were captured (6 Uma scoparia 1 Diposaurus dorsalis, 1 Crotaphytus wisligeni). A meadowlark (Sturnella neglecta) was seen sitting in the shade of Hymenoclea salsola at 1020 along the road. On the return trip to UCR I went through Palm Springs.
