SchHill ♀♀ clearly have won and moved in here; at least 4 and maybe all 5. All 3 ♂♂ are still here; ♀2472, The daughter, is most likely gone. ♀♀ are interested in the hole and could try to nest fairly soon - might be fun to watch them try! 4 June 1200. Bird in hole! Checked it: 4 fresh eggs, (1 a rnut). I marked them - if nothing else we should be able to got an idea about how many ♀♀ are laying here. 5 June 730. In blind. ♀ in hole. (♂ now looking out of hole. 752. ♀ left. ♂ rec/DB #1901 near hole.) 730. ♂ left. Now third bird (a ♀) looking out. 757. Leaves. Hole now empty? 812. ♀ wn/light#2556 in tree 830. ♀ da/LP #2210 enters hole. ♂ DA/Yel-Red #2471 here, 840. ♀ 481/Yel #2555 in tree. 852. ♂ ori/DB #1901 enters hole. ♀ now looking out. ♂DB/M #2473 in tree. 900. Going to check the nest. 920.! 5 eggs - all 4 from yesterday + 1 new fresh one (marked #5). These birds continue to surprise me. Is there really only 1 ♀ laying here? No! See 7 June 6 June 1145. Checked hole: 3 eggs! 1 new (marked #6) and 2 from 4 June (both normal). This is getting interesting after all! 3 (inc. the rnut) have been tossed. 7 June 615. Watching nest. ♀ looking out.
