1998 Walter D Koenig 1999 2 Mclanerpes boniciivorus Cavity H N H R 11 May 600. Ambushed at last year's nest hole; got quite a set of birds. Held the breeder & and 1 helper & until 1030, but no sign of a power struggle. Weather is marginal, however. 1999 26 April 1700. Bird in hole (high hole - tag #278). Checked it: 4 eggs (incubated) plus a runt! (5 total). Measured one: 24.7 x 21.0 mm. 5 May 1500. Checked nest: 3 babies ~ 4-5 do, + The next egg, which I removed. Banded ~ 21 May. 14 June 1400. Bird in hole (below 1st nest)! 1430. Checked it (hole #273): good shape but empty. 20 June The limb with hole 273 + 278 fell!
