Counted stores: Main tree: 2644 } 2970 20 tree 226 Tel pole misc ~100 Trees are pretty full (90%?). Saw Rob-or/#973 while counting. 17 April 1500. Bird in hole over by the upper barn. 18 April 1030. Checked hole: 4 eggs, 1 a runt! Measurements: ① 20.5 × 16.0 ② 25.6 × 19.6 ③ 26.2 × 19.6 ④ 24.8 × 20.0 Eggs fresh. 31 August 715. After discovering NOBA kits here from a missed 2nd nest (!) I ambushed all over and got 6 birds (but missed several others), including 1 NOBA juv. 25 October 1600. Setting ambushes for the Japanese film crew, I noticed a dead bird in the new low hole over by the upper barn (below the 2 prior nest holes). I pulled out a bird, #2277, a '93 Plague kid. She was at least a week old, I'd say. 26 October At the ambushes this morning we only got ♀2428 (molting to ♂) at the upper barn and ♀2426 by the labs. Both were measured (♀2426 only bled) and released.
