Even this may be an underestimate: the trees are loaded here, especially
the Sycamore, which is so full it's hard to count. Note also
that the tall spindly tree across the creek is emerging as a
substantial facility; I assume it belongs to Road 1 since it's
right near their nest, but there's no independent confirmation
of this as yet. Someday, at least, it certainly could (and will)
support a separate group (like Bongo).

This group also is purported to be starting at Finch, where
there are 339 acorns, although my guess is that they have
perhaps "budded" off to it instead. In any case, they are doing
well, though not fabulously so.
1 March
Mark pointed out to me that the Sycamore granary has
fallen! (not entirely, but the storage holes are a total
loss). We saved a few limbs and peeled off a big limb on its
to side next to the tree, but basically, they have permanently
lost ~2000+ holes!
