19 May Still some stores in the limbs we put up in the
old nest tree on the side of the hill. None in any
holes, however.
11 June Found the nest - in a new hole over by the
road up a bit (see Map on back). Banded
the 3 kids, Presumably this is the same hole
we missed last year!
13 November Ambushed (AM) The new hole in the blue oak
above the old nest tree, getting 2 of the kids from
this year plus 1 NOBA & presumably, but of course
not for sure, a kid from the missed Nest in 1998.
She only had 1 leg (!), and we forgot to look
carefully to make sure she was an adult, but-
we'll assume she's one of them for the time being.
