None in any holes, however. 11 June Found the nest - in a new hole over by the road up a bit (see Map on back). Banded the 3 kids, Presumably this is the same hole we missed last year! 13 November Ambushed (AM) The new hole in the blue oak above the old nest tree, getting 2 of the kids from this year plus 1 NOBA & presumably, but of course not for sure, a kid from the missed Nest in 1998. She only had 1 leg (!), and we forgot to look carefully to make sure she was an adult, but- we'll assume she's one of them for the time being.
