1993 1994 Walter D Koenig Melanerpes formicivorus Gazebo HNHE 13 May 1000. Bird in hole (same as used last couple years). There are stores remaining here also. 14 May 110. Peeped hole: 4 eggs, not fresh (I don't think). 19 June 1400. Banded the 3 babies. There are still a very few stores here. 17 July 1300. Fledgling in the hole. Also, I believe They are out of acorns here for all practical purposes. 1994 1 February 920. Gravany limbs are quite full here. Certainly 2000+ stores. 19 April 1140. Plenty of stores remaining. XNone in any of the easy holes. 21 April 1445. 3 birds flushed from an opened hole over toward CV@rande near the trench (just as it goes down). Birds flushed toward CV@rande - could be them?? 1450. ≥2 birds in last year's nest hole. 22 April 1630. Checked hole: empty. At least 3 birds flushed on arrival, though. 29 May 1300. Checked hole: 4 babies + 1 unhatched egg. ① LB (25.8) ② Dr (31.1) ③ Yd (26.3) ④ NOBA (20.2) unh. eg: 24.1x18.3 Plenty of stores remaining. 12 June 1200. Banded & bled the 4 kits.
