We arose at 0645 and ate breakfast.
We looked for lizards from 0800 to
1150. Walt, Ray + Frank walked the sand
for Uma scoparia while Dave + I drove
the road for Dipsosaurus dorsalis. After
obtaining our soil sample at noon, we
drove slowly to 29 Palms, looking for
lizards along the way. After eating in
29 Palms, we returned to Old Dale +
entered Joshua Tree Nat'l. Monument from
that direction. Along the way we caught
Sauromalus obesus and Crotaphytus collaris.
We ate at Cottonwood Springs, then
drove to Indio. We might collected
along Dillon Road from 2100 to 2315,
