Colorado Desert, Imperial Co., Calif.
The road a few moments later. On the return trip 2 were seen in about the same area. The first animals were seen at 2300 in flat ironwood country.
Animals collected today were:

Dipsosaurus dorsalis - 25 (20♂, 5♀) (24 at B.S.)
Phrynosoma micelli - 4 (1♂, 3♀)
Uma notata - 10 (6♂, 4♀)

Callisaurus draconoides - 2 (2♀)
Cnemidophorus tigris - 3 (2♂, 1♀)
Coleonyx variegatus - 8 (4♂, 4♀)

We drove 243 miles today. Maximum temp. today was 101°F., minimum temp. tonight was 68°F.
June 10
We arose at 0630 and ate breakfast. We looked for lizards from 0740 to 1100. Walt, Roy & Frank walked in the dunes & collected Uma notata, while Dave & I drove the road & collected our Dipsosaurus dorsalis sample. After eating lunch under the bridge on the Coachella Canal,
Then we drove east through Alamis to Blythe, then to Desert Center. We stopped 9 miles N. of Desert Center & filed dinner.
Then we night collected to our campsite near Dale Dry Lake. We night collected from 1945 to 2235. The only animals seen at night were: 1 DOR arizona elegans,
