Cristalus viridis - 1 (ad ♂)
Crotaphytus wislizeni - 2 (ad ♀)
" " collaris - 1 (ad ♂)
Sauromalus obesus - 1 (ad ♂)
Uta stansburiana - 1 (ad ♂)
Sceloporus gracilis - 4 (2 ad ♂; 2 ad ♀)
Phrynosoma platyrhinos - 1 (ad. ♂)
Uma inornata - 2 (ad ♂)
Dipsosaurus dorsalis - 51
Total - 64
Animals seen embedded in tar
at edge of pavement 6 mi. N. W. of
1000 Palms:
Cristalus creatus - 6
Phyllorhynchus decurtatus - 1
Dipsosaurus dorsalis - many
Cnemidophorus tigris - several
Celliurus draconoides - some
Phrynosoma platyrhinos - few
Crotaphytus wislizeni - few
Masticophis flagellum (probable)
3 birds, one of which was a thrasher.
Dipsosaurus dorsalis was most
abundant, then Celliurus draconoides,
then Cristalus creatus, followed by
Phrynosoma platyrhinos.
