by & was captured. The animals seen
today were: Neotoma sp.

We drove 127 miles today. Maximum
temp. today was 78°F.; minimum temp.
tonight was 51°F. We hit the sack
at 2400.
April 30
We arose at 0615. We ate breakfast
and checked the mammal traps. 23 traps
had been set & 6 animals were captured:
2 Peromyscus maniculatus
2 Dipodomys deserti
2 Perognathus penicillatus
We left camp at 0735 and hiked to
the juncture of Carrizo & San Felipe
Creeks. Along the route (going, coming, &
there) we saw:
Red-winged blackbird
Rough-winged swallow
Sambel quail
Western kingbird
Morning dove
Vaux swift
