We ate breakfast and checked the mammal traps. 23 traps had been set & 6 animals were captured: 2 Peromyscus maniculatus 2 Dipodomys deserti 2 Perognathus penicillatus We left camp at 0735 and hiked to the juncture of Carrizo & San Felipe Creeks. Along the route (going, coming, & there) we saw: Red-winged blackbird Rough-winged swallow Sambel quail Western kingbird Morning dove Vaux swift
